National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management (NIASM) has been established by Govt. of India with a mandate to undertake basic & applied research on abiotic stress management of food, horticultural & plantation crops, animal and fishery in the ever changing global climate and environment.

1. Name of the Post: Field/ Farm Technician - Technical Officer (T-6)
A. Soil Science & Agriculture Chemistry: 01 Post
B. Soil & Water Conservation Engineering: O1 Post
C. Soil Physics / Soil & Water Conservation: 01 Post
D. Soil Science: 01 Post
E. Horticulture: 01 Post
F. Fishery Science: 01 Post
G. Agricultural Economics: 01 Post
H. Agrometeorology: 01 Post
I. Agronomy: 01 Post
Qualification: A Master Degree in the relevant subject/field.
Pay Scale: Rs 37400-67000 + GP 8700/-

2. Name of the Post: Laboratory Technician - Technical Officer (T-6)
A. Plant Biotechnology: 01 Post
B. Computer Science/Applications: 01 Post
C. Seed Science & Technology: 01 Post
D. Plant Physiology: 01 Post
E. Organic/Inorganic/ Bio/Analytical Chemistry: 01 Post
Qualification: A Master Degree in the relevant subject/field.

3. Name of the Post: Workshop Technician – Technical Officer (T-6)
A. Farm Machinery & Power: 01 Post
Qualification: Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Farm Machinery & Power or equivalent.
Pay Scale: Rs 15600-39100 + GP 7600/-

4. Name of the Post: Library/Information/Documentation Technician - T-6
A. Librarian: 01 Post
Qualification: Master degree in Library Science or equivalent qualification.
Pay Scale: Rs 15600-39100 + GP 7600/-

Application Fee: An application fee is payable by candidate, if he/she belongs to unreserved categories. There is No fees to be paid by SC/ST and Female candidates. The amount of application fee is Rs.200/-. The application fee should be paid in the shape of Demand Draft drawn in favor of “ICAR unit - NIASM” payable at Baramati.

Posting Location: At present, the place of posting is as indicated in the advertisement i.e. Malegaon, Baramati, Pune. However, the selected candidate is liable to be transferred anywhere in India under NIASM/ICAR.
