Applications are being invited by Border Security Force (BSF) to fill up vacant posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer), Head Constable (Ministerial) and Constable (Daftry). - Post Name: Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) (25 post)
Pay Scale: Rs 5200-20200 + GP 2800/-
Qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination pass with a minimum speed of Shorthand @ 80 words per minute in English/Hindi. - Post Name: Head Constable (Ministerial) (159 post)
Pay Scale: Rs 5200-20200 + GP 2400/-
Qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination pass with a minimum Typing speed @ 35 words per minute in English OR @ 30 words per minute in Hindi. - Post Name: Constable (Daftry) (12 post)
Pay Scale: Rs 5200-20200 + GP 2000/-
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent examination pass.
Age Limitations: For unreserved categories lower age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 25 years. General category candidate must have been born not earlier than 01 January 1989 and not later than 01 January 1996. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/Govt Servants and 3 years for the Other Backward Classes.
How to Apply: Candidates must apply only using prescribed application format. It is advisable that applicant should have fill up the application form in his/her own handwriting using Black/Blue ball point pen. The Xerox copies of requisite documents should be attached with application form. A list of such enclosures is provided below. The application envelop must be super-scripted with these words: "Application for the post(s) of__________________________". Applications, duly furnished in all respects may submitted to various centres of BSF. A list of addresses is available at below provided link.
Documents to be Enclose: The copies of following documents are be submitted along with application form in support of candidature to these Sarkari Jobs.
A. Requisite application fee of Rs. 50/-.
B. Recent passport size color photograph which is to be pasted on the space provided in application form.
C. Attested copies of all certificates in support of Education, Experience and any other specified qualifications.
D. Attested copies of documents in support of claim for age-relaxation.
E. Candidates, who are already engaged in Govt. Service whether permanent/temporary/work-charged employees, will be required to send their applications through proper channel.
Selection Procedure: The candidates, who will be best suitable to these Government Jobs, would be select on the basis of their performance in following tests/exams. If any candidate found involve in illegal activities, such as canvassing the selection committee, false reporting of testimonials etc, his/her candidature will be canceled immediately.

Physical Standards: Candidate must have matching physique as mentioned below to clear primary screening of recruitment process. However, relaxations for various categories shall applicable as per mentioned in BSF recruitment notification.

A. Height: 165 Cms (for Male) | 155 Cms (for Female)
B. Chest: Unexpanded 77 Cms | Expanded 82 Cms (for Male only)
C. Weight:- Corresponding to the height and age as per medical standard (For males and females)
2. for Constable (Daftry)
A. Height: 167.5 Cms (for Male) | 157 Cms (for Female)
B. Chest: Unexpanded 80 Cms | Expanded 85 Cms (for Male only)
C. Weight:- Corresponding to the height as per medical standard (For males and females)
Scheme and Syllabus of BSF Written Examination: The written examination will be conducted at the Selection Centres on various concerned centres. Written examination will consist of the following five parts:-
I - Hindi/ English language: 20 Marks
II - General Intelligence: 20 Marks
III - Numerical Aptitude: 20 Marks
IV - Clerical Aptitude: 20 Marks
V - Basic Computer Knowledge: 20 Marks
There will be a single composite question paper for one hour and forty minutes duration and maximum 100 marks consisting of above five parts. Question paper will be objective type in nature having multiple choice questions. Question paper will be printed bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi both.
Application Fees: Candidate who wish to apply to this Sarkari Naukri, must have to enclose Application/Examination fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only). The amount of fee can be paid through Bank Draft/Postal Order drawn in favor of authority to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/Post office at the location. SC/ST/Departmental (BSF) and Women candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
