Age Bar: General category candidates should have Age up to 27 years as on 10.09.2013. For Land Oustees upper age limit is 35 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15500-3%-34500/- (W7 grade)
Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for these Technical Jobs in NTPC, candidate must has a Full time regular Diploma in relevant field of Engineering with 70% marks. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure: All candidates will have to undergo through a two hours objective type written examination/test. Based on the merit and requirement, the candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in interview and communication will be sent to such candidates. All such short listed candidates will have to appear for Personal Interview.
Scheme of Written Examination: The Examination will be conducted on All India basis and is scheduled to be held on 17.11.2013 (Sunday). The test can be taken in Hindi or English. The test will be in two parts viz. Part-I and Part-II. Part-I will be basically a Knowledge Test and will consist of 70 multiple-choice questions of respective discipline. Part-II will be Aptitude Test and will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions on English, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning. Negative marking will be given. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong/multiple answered question.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates have to apply for this Government Jobs through online registration system. The link for this purpose has been given below. Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms. No manual/paper application will be entertained.
Application Fees: Candidates belonging to General/OBC category are required to pay a nonrefundable registration fee of Rs 300/-. The SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted to pay the registration fee. State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened account number (A/C NO. 30987919993) at CAG branch (Branch Code: 09996), New Delhi, on behalf of NTPC. Candidates can use "Pay-in Slip" or "Fee Payment Challan" to pay the fees.
