Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala invites applications from eligible Indian nationals to join the prestigious Indian Railway in Group-C (Class-III) and Group-D(erstwhile). The posts will be filled up against Scouts & Guides quota for the year 2013-2014. Further information regarding recruitment has been given below...

1. Name of the Vacant Post/Category: Group-C (Class-III) (01 position)
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
Age Bar: 18-30 year (as on 01.01.2014)
Eligibility Criteria: Matriculation or any other equivalent examination must be passed. Candidate with ITI/Act apprenticeship in General Fitter/Welding/Electrical trade will be given preference.

2. Name of the Vacant Post/Category: Group-D(erstwhile) (02 positions)
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-
Age Bar: 18-33 year (as on 01.01.2014)
Eligibility Criteria: Matriculation or any other equivalent examination must be passed. Candidate having ITI/Act apprenticeship certificates are also eligible to apply to these Jobs in Railway.

Scouts and Guides qualifications: Candidates should have following qualification;
i) A president’s Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover; OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder; OR A pre-HWB trained Scout leader/Advanced Trained Guide/Leader/Captain.
ii) Should have been an active member of Scouts organization for at least three years in the recent past and should continue to be active.
iii) Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State Level; OR Should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guide activities at Unit/District level.
iv) A certificate from District Commissioner(S&G) giving details of activities in which participated in last three years in the district should be attached as per proforma.

Fees: Examination fee of Rs.40/- must be paid by Un-reserved and OBC category candidates. Fee should be in the form of Crossed Indian Postal order or A/C payee demand draft, to be drawn in favor of "FA &CAO/RCF/Kapurthala". Candidates belonging to SC/ST/EXSM, PWD, Female, Minority candidates and candidates belonging to Economically Backward Classes are exempted from payment of examination fees.

Posting Location: All positions have all India service liability. Initially they would be place at Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala (Punjab).
