Name of the Vacant Post: Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno) (271 positions)
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-
Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years (as on 22/2/2014)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 pass in any stream
Professional Qualification
a. Dictation: 10 minutes at 80 words per minute on computer
b. Transcription time: 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer
How to Apply: Interested candidates, possessing requisite qualifications may apply, along with prescribed application proforma affixing a colored passport size latest photograph on it and xerox copies of relevant certificates. Selection Process: Every candidate shall have to undergo through following stages during the selection process;
1. Scrutiny/Checking of Certificates or Documents
2. Physical Measurement Test
3. Physical Efficiency Test
4. Written Examination
5. Skill Test
6. Interview
7. Medical Fitness Test
8. Documentation/Verification
Application Fee: Every application should be accompanied by a Crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft for Rs. 100/- to be drawn in favor of the DIGP, GC, CRPF of concerned application receiving centre. SC/ST, Female candidates and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.
Applications should be submitted at aforesaid address on or before 22 February 2014.
