Applications are being invited by SSC Western Region to fill up various vacant posts of on regular basis in various departments. Interested & eligible Govt. 1. Milk Recorder (Central Cattle Breeding Farm) (1 post)
   Pay Scale: Rs 5200-20200 + GP 1900/-
   Age limit: 18-35 years
   Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.


2. Storekeeper Grade-III (Central Water and Power Research Station) (3 post)
   Pay Scale: Rs 5200-20200 + GP 1900/-

3. Technician Group C (Animal Quarantine & Certification Service) (3 post)

   Qualification: Certificate in Forest Rangers Course.


7. Botanical Assistant (Minor Port Survey Organisation) (3 post)

   Age limit: 18-30 years
   Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Botany.


8. Jr. Fishing Gear Technologist (Fishery Survey of India) (1 post)

   Qualification: Master degree of Science in Zoology or Marine Biology or Industrial Fisheries.

    Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) pass with a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.


11. Editor (Film Division) (3 post)
    Pay Scale: Rs 9300-34800 + GP 4600/-
    Age limit: 18-30 years
    Qualification: Higher Secondary or equivalent with six years experience of film editing.


12. Sr. Technical Assistant (Hydrogeology) (Central Ground Water Board) (1 post)
    Pay Scale: Rs 9300-34800 + GP 4600/-
    Age limit: 18-30 years
    Qualification: Master Degree in Geology or Hydrogeology or Applied Geology.


13. Information Assistant (Ministry of Tourism) (1 post)
    Pay Scale: Rs 9300-34800 + GP 4200/-
    Age limit: 21-25 years
    Qualification: A Degree from a recognized university/Instt; Knowledge of Computer Application and General knowledge of and familiarity with places of tourist
    interest in India.


14. Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical) (Central Ground Water Board) (1 post)
    Pay Scale: Rs 9300-34800 + GP 4600/-
    Age limit: 18-30 years
    Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science with 2 years experience.

How to Apply: Candidates must apply only using prescribed application format. It is advisable that applicant should have fill up the application form in his/her own handwriting using Black/Blue ball point pen. The Xerox copies of requisite documents should be attached with application form. A list of such enclosures is provided below. The application envelop must be super-scripted with these words: "Application for the post(s) of__________________________". Applications, duly furnished in all respects should be sent to: OFFICE OF THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR, STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (WR), 1ST FLOOR, PRATISHTHA BHAVAN, 101, MK ROAD, MUMBAI, PIN-400020.

Documents to be Enclose: The copies of following documents are be submitted along with application form in support of candidature to these Govt. Jobs.
A. Requisite application fee of Rs. 50/-.
B. Recent passport size color photograph which is to be pasted on the space provided in application form.
C. Attested copies of all certificates in support of Education, Experience and any other specified qualifications.
D. Attested copies of documents in support of claim for age-relaxation.

Selection Procedure: The candidates, who will be best suitable to these Government Jobs, would be select on the basis of their performance in Written Test and/or Personal Interview. If any candidate found involve in illegal activities, such as canvassing the selection committee, false reporting of testimonials etc, his/her candidature will be canceled immediately.

Application Fees: Applicants who wish to apply for this Govt. Job, must pay an application fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only). The categories of SC, ST, All Female candidates, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen are exempted to pay the application charge. Candidates are required to pay the Examination fee in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS). These stamps are available at Post Offices of India Post at all over the country. These Recruitment Stamps must be pasted at the top left hand corner of the application form. The Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) must be got cancelled from the counter clerk of any post office (including the issuing post office) with the date stamp of post office.
