The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold a NET Examination on 27.10.2013( Sunday) at 33 Centres in India as per the rules and Scheme of Examination. Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully before filling the Online Application Form. NET is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs) only.

Qualification

A candidate must possess a Masters degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline and specialization.

Age

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 01.8.2013.There is no upper age limit for National Eligibility Test.

Fee

Following fees are payable by candidates through online only through online payment gateway.
1. Un-reserved = Rs. 1,000/-
2 Other Backward Class (OBC) (Non-creamy layer) = Rs. 500/-
3 SC/ST/PC = Rs. 250/-

How to Apply

A candidate seeking admission to the Examination must apply online in the prescribed Application form available below. No other mode of application is allowed. Candidates are required to complete the Application Form by filling all the parts.

Examination Plan

There will one paper of 150 marks consisting of 150 objective type multiple choice questions to be solved in 2 (Two) hours. Each question carries one mark. These 150 questions shall be derived from the respective discipline in which the candidate has opted to appear.

The last date for filling up of online application form is 11:59 PM (23:59 Hrs) on 30.09.2013
