The National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR), is an autonomous Society works under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (Government of India), will held a walk-in interview to recruit prospective candidates for filling up the following research positions under the various projects. The positions are purely temporary and on a project mode, initially for a period of one year. Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions are invited to attend a the interview at NCAOR Goa. Further details regarding recruitment has been given below...

1. Name of the Vacant Post: Research Scientist-B (1 post)
Eligibility Criteria: Masters Degree in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Applied Physics/Geology/Applied Geology/Marine Geology/Marine Sciences/Physics or equivalent with 2 years of academic/R&D experience in the relevant field.
Emoluments: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 5400/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years

2. Name of the Vacant Post: Junior Research Fellow (1 post)
Eligibility Criteria: Masters Degree in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Applied Physics/Geology/Applied Geology/Marine Geology/Marine Sciences/Physics.
Emoluments: Rs. 12,000/- + HRA
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years

3. Name of the Vacant Post: Junior Research Fellow (1 post)
Eligibility Criteria: Masters Degree in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Applied Physics/Geology/Applied Geology/Marine Geology/Marine Sciences/Physics.
Emoluments: Rs. 12,000/- + HRA
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years

4. Name of the Vacant Post: Research Scientist-B (1 post)
Eligibility Criteria: Masters Degree in Marine Sciences/Chemical Oceanography/Chemistry with at least 60% marks at Post Graduation level.
Experience: Two years of academic /R&D experience in the relevant field
Emoluments: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 5400/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years

5. Name of the Vacant Post: Research Scientist-B (1 post)
Eligibility Criteria: Masters Degree in Marine Science/Oceanography/Physics university with at least 60% marks at Post Graduation level.
Experience: Two years of academic / R&D experience in the relevant field.
Emoluments: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 5400/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years

Schedule of Walk-in Interview:
 - Timings (Registration) 09:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.
- Timings (Interview) From 10:00 a.m onwards
- Date: 26th August 2013 (Monday) And 27th August 2013 (Tuesday)

Selection Procedure: Eligible and best suitable candidates will be selected to these project jobs through Personal Interview. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate to be selected.
