1. Name of the Vacant Post: Programme Coordinator (Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Sciences/Fisheries) [06 posts]
Educational qualification: Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience.
Age Limit: 18 to 28 years (as on 1.1.2013)
Pay Scale: Rs 37400-67000 + RGP 9000/-

2. Name of the Vacant Post: Subject Matter Specialist
a. Horticulture [01 post]
b. Entomology [02 posts]
c. Farm Machinery & Power [01 post]
d. Agricultural Processing & Food Engineering [01 post]
e. Livestock Production & Management [04 posts]
f. Fisheries [01 post]
Educational qualification: A Master degree in concerned subject with atleast 55% marks.
Age Limit: The applicants age shall not be more than 35 years
Pay Scale: Rs 15600-39100 + GP 5400/-

3. Name of the Vacant Post: Farm Manager (Agronomy/Soil Science) [04 posts]
Educational qualification: A Master degree in Agronomy/Soil Science with at least 55% marks. The applicant should be a bonafide resident of Chhattisgarh.
Age Limit: The applicants age shall not be more than 35 years
Pay Scale: Rs. 5910-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/- for Unreserved and OBC categories (Rs. 250/- for ST&SC categories) in shape of Bank Draft of any nationalized bank drawn in favor of "Registrar, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur" payable at Raipur.

Selection Procedure

The applicants shall be required to present themselves before the selection committee, if called for interview, at their own expenses. ST/SC applicants will be allowed traveling allowance as per the rules of university.
