Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct a combined competitive examination, namely Indian Economic Service (IES)/ Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2013. There will be total 66 vacant posts fill up of Grade-IV. The essential eligibility conditions, number of the posts to be fill up and other information are given below. Name of the Service: Indian Economic Service (30 positions)
Age: 21 to 35 years (The relaxation in upper age limit will be given as per Govt. of India guidelines)
Eligibility Criteria: Following qualifications are essential to be eligible for these posts. - A Post Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics from UGC recognized university/institution.
Name of the Service: Indian Statistical Service (36 positions)
Age: 21 to 35 years (The relaxation in upper age limit will be given as per Govt. of India guidelines)
Eligibility Criteria: Following qualifications are essential to be eligible for these posts. - A Post Graduate Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from UGC recognized university/institution.
Selection Procedure: Selection of best fit applicants to these Government Jobs will be made on the basis of performance in written examination and Personal Interview.
How to Apply: Before applying to this competitive examination, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility and other essential norms. Candidates are required to apply online only. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted. Candidates should ensure that their personal email ID is kept active during the examination process.
Application Fees: While applying to UPSC-Indian Economic Service (IES)/ Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2013, applicants are required to pay examination charges of Rs.200/- (Rs. Two Hundred only). The examination fee can either be paid by remitting the cash in any Branch of State Bank of India Or by using Internet Banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore. The fees can also be paid by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card. SC/ST/Female/Physically Handicapped candidates need not to pay any fee/charges.
