Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) invites Online Applications for recruitment against vacant posts in various departments through Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Exam-2013. 1. Post Name: Punjab Civil Service (Executive Branch) (23 post)
   Age limit: 21 to 38 years (as on 01-01-2013)
   Qualification: A Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/Instt. Candidates must have passed Punjabi of matric or its equivalent standard.


2. Post Name: Deputy Superintendent of Police (10 post)
   Age limit: 21 to 38 years (as on 01-01-2013)
   Qualification: A Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/Instt. Candidates must have passed Punjabi of matric or its equivalent standard.


3. Post Name: Deputy Superintendent of Jails (Grade-II)/ District Probation Officer (Jails) (16 post)

   Qualification: A Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/Instt. Candidates must have passed Punjabi of matric or its equivalent standard.


4. Post Name: Excise & Taxation Officer (52 post)
   Pay Scale: Rs 9300-34800 + GP 4200/-
   Age limit: 21 to 38 years (as on 01-01-2013)
   Qualification: A Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/Instt. Candidates must have passed Punjabi of matric or its equivalent standard.

Query: How much positions are to be fill up by PPSC.?
Answer: Total 120 vacant posts are to fill up through this recruitment project.

Query: I am a domiciled/resident of other state. Am I eligible to apply to these Government Jobs?

How to Apply: Candidates must apply ONLINE only for these Latest Government Vacancies. It is advisable that applicant should fill up the online application form carefully. Scheme of Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Exam-2013: The selection of candidates for filling up above mentioned posts in various departments of Govt. of Punjab shall be based on the PSCSCCE-2013, who fulfill the qualifying criteria. Candidature of the candidate shall be provisional till the time of verification of documents of candidate at the time of viva-voce/ interview to be conduct by PPSC. Essential steps involved in the selection process are:
i) Preliminary Competitive Examination; and
ii) Main Competitive Examination (written and viva voce/ Interview).

Application Fees: Candidate who wish to apply to this Sarkari Naukri in Punjab, must have to enclose Application/Examination fee according to his/her category, as mentioned below. The amount of fee can be paid through Fee payment challan which is to be submitted through any Branch of State Bank of Patiala.
1. SC/ST candidates of all other States and Backward Classes of Punjab: Rs. 1125/-
2. Ex-Servicemen of Punjab: Rs. 500/-
3. All Others Categories: Rs. 3000/-
4. Physically Handicapped candidates of Punjab: Rs. 1750/-
